John Pantelis was born in Clearwater in 1970 and grew up in Tarpon Springs. He attended Saint Nicholas Cathedral and was active as an Acolyte, a GOYA member and a YAL member.

In 1991, he met his wife, Kathy and they married in June of 1992. He was married here at Holy Trinity and started attending church in Clearwater. He immediately became active with the church festival and has been co-chairman of the event for years.

In 1994, he and Kathy were blessed with the birth of their first daughter, Yanna. She currently dances in the Sr. Hellas Dance Group and is active in GOYA. In 1996, they were blessed again with the birth of their second daughter Demetra. She dances in the Jr. Hellas Dance Group and will soon be joining GOYA as well.

As the children grew older, John became even more involved with the church when he joined the Parish Council. He served on many committees and eventually became 2nd Vice President. Now as President, he has the fortune to head the 40th Anniversary Capital Campaign to insure that Holy Trinity Greeek Orthodox Church will remain sound both spiritually and structurally for another 40 years.
